Day 5 - We descend by track as far as the Glacier Miage lateral morraine before climbing up on to a balcony route, offering staggering views of the more rugged side of the Mont Blanc massif, including the Dent du Geant (the Giants tooth). We follow the path which finally takes us on a big descent into Dolonne and Courmayeur where our tour ends with an overnight in a Hotel (family run 2-3 star).

Why Donkey's too?

Duncan, your guide on these trips, loves animals. After recovering from a spinal injury, and spending time learning about care and welfare of Donkeys at the 'Donkey Sanctuary', a British Charity, Duncan returned to the Alps and working together with a local french family, Eric and his daughter Ti Phane, they have collaborated to provide unique experience akin to the anciant ways of journeying.
